Hilarious teacher, keeps you interested with class discussions. Off topic sometimes but its always a fun conversation that occurs, if you like or are interested in Creative Writing I guarantee you that this class will only escalate it. She knows her literature and her stuff overall my favorite teacher so far after having been here 2 semesters.

This professor was my favorite. I've never had so much fun in a class before. Sure, she gets off topic, but it's well worth it. If you keep on top of the work, you shouldn't have a problem. Her critiques were helpful and she was fair to all students. I would take her class again.

She's alright, if you can get her on track. She gets wayyy too off topic sometimes and I learned more about her daughter than I did about composition. Also, she had us do about 4 readings and a paper per night, ending with 9 papers and then we had to rewrite our favorites. VERY unapproachable, too.

Great teacher, really funny. She has a tendency to want to relate everything to sex, or tell dirty stories, though it does the trick to keep students interested. She is kinda unapproachable at first and but really helpful if you get the guts to ask her for help. She can be a really tough grader, but appreciates humor, wit and sarcasm in papers.

motto is definitely the coolest teacher i have ever had. she makes class fun and you learn stuff without even realizing you're learning it. Feel free to be normal around her, she doesn't care what you act like. as long as she likes you, you are golden. do the work, there isn't much of it. DEFINITELY take this class with her!

Pretty fun professor, likes to joke around with everyone. Feel free to curse around, she doesn't care. I think she's not straight... because when someone asked her about the father of her kid she says she doesn't have a husband and says something about her childs other mother...

Awesome Professor - we had the most fun that I've ever had in a class, but she can also be serious when she needs to be. I learned a lot from this professor, and she inspired me to write about what I love. (She's also really funny)

If you're taking fiction I'm sorry. You have to be at class exactly when it starts because she locks the doors. On you're first draft she'll give you a B or B-. She doesn't look to grade the quality of your stories but more on the grammer which shouldn't matter in a first draft. Even if you go above and beyond you won't get the grade you deserve.

Most people seem to get along with her very well. She is the kind of person who favors people, so if you are more quite she might not like you, and that will make all the difference. She is a fair teacher but very unapproachable, and can be a b****. I would look into taking the class with another professor, but she is not the worst of the bunch.

Seems to almost intentionally put people off. She's terrifically helpful if you approach her for it, but makes herself very unapproachable. Not a "nice" lady until you know her. Do yourself a favor and give her a chance to grow on you.

I loved this class. She is very funny. We had 1 personal narrative, 1 research paper, and a final portfolio. Awesome class, but dont be late cause she will embarrass you.

this class starts off really easily and then can get out of hand with the work you have to do. Make sure your work is flawless or your not getting the grade you expect. Take the class but prepare to work like crazy before finals week

This lady is really offbeat, but in a good way. She's kind of tough as a grader, but the class itself isn't that difficult. As long as you do the work, I don't see where you'd have a huge problem. Sometimes the assignments are a little weird, but that's about as hard as it gets to swallow.

GREAT TEACHER. It is my earlist class, but my favorite. she is SO funny and makes the work fun. We sit in a circle and it is more of a discussion then a class. DEF take this class with her if you can!!

I really liked her as a teacher, she made it a lot of fun. We didn't write boring papers like usual, we even did a project on the 80s. This class was a good time, I reccommend her. She gives you the grade you deserve, and don't get on her bad side!

Motto, is one of the funniest teachers i ever had. I love her sarcasim. Shes really nice and understanding if your honest with her. One thing ive learned is dont be late to her class unless your okay with embarrassing yourself inf ront of the class.

GREAT TEACHER!! first to make english fun-& it's my major. did a project on cults. funny. easy extra credit. lil rough on the grading, but she gives what's actually deserved. sarcastic but entertaining-even if u're the target. definitely TAKE HER CLASS!
