EC437 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: A-

Such a cool professor. He's 87 years old and has worked in the utilities industry forever. His expertise on the subject is unmatched. His lectures are freaking hilarious, too. I enjoyed the course so much I decided to take his winter energy economics course. Highly recommended.

Energy Economics - loved this guy. He's 85 years old so he speaks his mind. He has a knowledge of the field that is infinite, but likes to tell jokes and talk off-topic occasionally. Very adamant in his beliefs (probably because he's right). Don't be one of those annoying people and try to argue, just sit back, shut up, and soak in the knowledge.

EC437 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Professor Katz is a credible, entertaining asset to the PSU econ department. Despite having taught for like 50 years, he is still obviously enthusiastic about the subject and does cool things like get actual professionals to come guest-lecture. Midterm and final only, which I am not a fan of.

Mike Katz is amazing. He has decades of experience to back up everything he teaches. He is one of the most interesting lecturers I have had and I will be taking him again next term. I wish he taught more than two classes. Only two exams. You do need to know the material though and he tells you exactly what is going to be on the final.

Katz is a gem of the economics department at PSU. He's 83 years old, but more spry and sharp than I could ever hope to be. His lectures are spot on with his tests, so just show up and you're fine. The texts are amazing, but really only needed if you're passionate about the subject. Also if you like jokes Katz is the best, his lectures are hilarious

EC510 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

A letter of rec from this guy got me my job before I was even graduated. If you've ever thought about working in the energy industry, take a class from this guy and you won't regret it.
