Campo tends to be very arrogant and rude. He will answer your questions with sarcasm and make fun of you after. I do not doubt his intelligence, but I doubt his integrity. You will get a better grade if you praise him constantly. Anyone praising him here, praised him in class for the A. He also chose a useless new book and stubbornly stuck to it.

Extremely lazy professor. Has your fellow students who are his graders grade your examinations including final and they even assign your final grade on ASAP. sad he is the only one teaching this class. Very knowledgeable on heat transfer though. Due to his laziness his exam is about final answers as opposed to actual steps. Also exceptionally rude

Conceptually, numerical methods is an easy class. However, Campo is extremely unclear, unorganized, and condescending. Ask a question in class and be prepared to be ridiculed. Teach yourself through the textbook or online resources, then attend his lecture to taylor to his methods since he does not give partial credit on tests.

Very knowledgable in heat transfer. Grade strictly. Either you have it correct or wrong answer.

Dr. Campo is "the facilitator" when teaching concepts that the course coordinator has made needlessly complex. His section covered less than the others and was thus easier. Not the most organized professor, but he was always willing to help those who showed an interest in the class. Stay thirsty, my friends.

Dr. Campo is an amazing person and very knowledgeable in heat transfer. His teaching style is very different becaue he motivates you to think. I am a fan of his style of teaching but what I respect is how much the man knows about heat transfer and applied math. His classes are always fun, meaningful and relevant. I highly recommend him always

He prepares for class in detailed form, his lectures are well structured, going from one section to another smoothly in a particular order. He is very humble and respectful to all students who ask questions. I'm pretty sure he is one of the best instructors in Engng at UTSA. He knows the material extremely well to teach heat transfer at any level

Very smart but very arrogant. I didnt study much, did some of the homeworks, understood the concepts, and pulled all nighters the day before the tests and managed to get a C. Not impossible but very tough.

He only gives two tests, one midterm and then the final... Gave us a useless syllabus very late into the sememster and blamed it on the ta. Hard to learn, your better off learning the material on your own because you won't learn much from him. I would have dropped but I didn't get my first test grade back untill after the drop date

Horrible, tries to help by teaching his own methods but he is not clear, and because he teaches you "shortcuts", when you study with the book nothing makes any sense. All you will hear in his class is "this is not in the book" "but I repeat, this is not in the book", 5 of my friends in that class dropped. Gave us a useless syllabus 5 weeks late.
