BISC002 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: A

Sometimes minuscule facts from lectures would appear on exams. but that really didn't matter since the exams were all memorization anyway. pretty easy, and thats coming from someone who absolutely hates science. just make flash cards and you'll do fine. pretty easy class and you get extra credit for attending

BMB 211 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Anjuli was a great teacher. She's young, fun, and knows her material. However, there is a lot of material, but if you study you'll be fine. Not a blow off class by any means.. you'll have to work for your grade. Going to class and taking notes will definitely help and she gives you the bonus questions on tests if you do. I would recommend her.

I took this course in the summer- great teacher and overall it was pretty easy. Definitely go to lecture though; there are some bonus questions on the exams that aren't included in the slides.

she can't teach...the way she explains the materials is hard to understand and i actually learn more from reading the book. her offices hours are useless and ineffective. she sees students individually instead of everyone and i only had about 5 mins with her

anjuli was amazing. i usually suck at chemistry, but with her study guide and method of teaching, i got a B+! she's a lot of fun and tries to make things interesting. plus, she's very clear on what's going to be on the test, and there's bonus questions! bottom line: difficult material but she makes it bearable. 100% recommend her for this class!!

Datta taught like we were in high school, but expected 400 level thinking skills--she read the slides to us in class; she didn't even take the time to make her own slides. You shouldn't start a class by saying there will be a 8+% curve before any examinations! Class is pointless and so is purchasing the book. I should get a refund on tuition

BMB212 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

Overall her class wasn't bad. Grading was based off of 5 exams, including the final, which is not cumulative. A LOT of material, but she makes it pretty clear as to what she will test on. Lecture notes are taken right from the book. Curves the final grade, with an 85 or above being an A. Not an easy A at all, but if you put in decent time your okay

This class isn't easy but Anjuli makes it very clear what she expects you to know for the exams. If you know the study guide, you get an A, but you have to study! Grades are based entirely on 5 exams, each worth 20%. She's very knowledgeable on the subject and a fun lecturer. I'd recommend taking her class over any other BMB 211.

Honestly, do not take this class. All she does is read over the lecture notes which one can do perfectly fine on their own. She is a terrible teacher and really has NO idea what she is talking about. Take a different GenEd class. Thank you.

introductory class - not easy at all. way too much detail and way too much information for non-bio majors. 6 exams and 1 is dropped but the exams are difficult if you don't have a science background. don't take it for a gen ed.
