He is great Professor, very helpful. Sometime it was hard to understand his thick accent. Always ready to explain processes in a simple way.

Hard to understand...Does offer all the time for office visits but he is rude and unhelpful if you go. I received high grade in the class but found him very rude and hard to work with. He made learning environment not fun. Quizzes/Test include info not on the power points he gives. LONG class of just lecturing.

He is under appreciated due to his thick accent and difficulty getting his ideas across at times. But he is a genuinely nice guy who wants what is best for his students and for the environment. He is very willing to help you and offers many extra credit opportunities. It's a good class, especially if you just need to fulfill a science GE.

The class was intended to be about climate change and human influence and what we can do to change it, but it turned out to be biology and chemistry oriented. If it wasn't for the massive amounts of extra-credit the average grade would have been below a C. The average grade of the second midterm was 98% because of 20 extra points he gave out.
