OMG!!! Anthony Menson is the best Math-1000 teacher I have ever had in Macomb community college. he will literally answer your emails when you send it to him. when he goes over the test he gives you a review and his review are exactly on the exam. if you are new in Macomb my best advice for you is to take Anthony Menson you won't regret it.

This was my second time taking this class. I was 3 points away from getting transferable credit last year. Math sucks, so does no calculators (new math 1000 rule). BUT he is awesome. Responds to emails super quickly. Such a sweet old man. He is nice, and is one of the few professors from macomb that are on your side. TAKE HIS CLASS!

EXTRA CREDITLECTURE HEAVY
He is the most boring teacher there is. My friend and i got so bored in his class we did homework for other classes in his class. Also we skipped a lot and nothing happened. The first day he said no phone or laptops by day 3 i had my laptop on my desk and i was typing away. ALSO DON'T BUY THE WORK BOOK WASTE OF MONEY.
If you need to take calc this is the best professor you're gonna get. Older guy but very friendly and approachable. He is so helpful he will literally do every homework problem step by step in class if you ask. Exams all had extra credit and he drops the lowest score. Wish he taught more classes.
Very clear. same routine everyday. go over homework, and then learn new material. older guy but very nice. doesn't give extra credit on first test but on the other ones he gives 9-12 more points. would take again.

Excellent professor! Goes over material well and is open to any questions. He will drop your lowest test score. Allows graphing calculators on tests and final. Overall great professor!
I have never been good at math, but this guy got me through with multiple 100% test scores. Best math teacher I have ever had, hands down. If you do most of your homework and pay attention, you will have an awesome grade.
Best calculus teacher I've had. I got a 4.0 in the class and give the credit to his teaching style, clarity on topics, and helpfulness. Surprisingly, I actually enjoyed a calc class! I highly recommend him!
Mr. Mensen is amazing, you don?t have to attend, you don?t have to do homework, and all you need is make sure you get the study guide for the tests and you?re golden if you know MATH. If not then DO the HW because it?ll be in the test. He?s a great teacher and explains very well and you can ask him, and the Learning center is very helpful too.
He was a REALLY good professor. He explains everything very well and gives you many examples to make sure you understand. He is always willing to answer any questions you have and his bonus quizzes help A LOT. His tests were straight forward and his homework wasn't mandatory but I highly recommend doing it if you want to do well. I got an A!
He is a really good professor and definitly knows his stuff. He is very nice and offers a lot of help and asks if you need to see any examples on the board. He offers bonus quizzes to add to ur test scores which helps a LOT. take him you will do good i got a 3.3
He's an awesome teacher. He goes over everything, offers students help during and after class, his reviews are very helpful for the tests, and I don't think anyone who makes a decent attempt in his class is going to fail. I absolutely HATE math, but his bonus take-home quizzes boost up your test grades and make the class fairly easy.
I love this professor!! Very awesome!! He goes over everything you need to know clearly, and on top of that he will do any homework problem that you did not get before he starts lecturing. I got an A in the class...and Im pretty sure a whole bunch of other students did too. Did I mention that this was a summer class and only 1 student dropped.
