Very good economics teacher. Made things clear and explained things in a plain fashion I'd highly recommend him to anyone.

This class was the funnest/most interesting class I have ever taken in my entire school career. Professor Smith keeps discussions lively and entertaining, and he relates things in a way that makes the concepts easy to understand. Yes, you have to do the reading, but the assignments aren't bad. Take the class with him. You'll love it. :D

Dan is a fun, energetic professor. Sometimes he gets a little off track just because he's happy to talk about something of interest. It may seem like he's interested in offending you, but I think he's just eager to share his worldview. I've never had a class change my opinion on so many things before. Don't be afraid to ask for help he's a nice guy

Took Econ 385 over the summer. No textbook required. Instead, you're required to buy 6 actual published books related to subject. Half your grade comes from quizzes, making attendance and reading prior to coming to class mandatory. No tests, but 6-page final research paper counts as 40% of your grade.

He is very enthusiastic about economics.. he's a bit unorganized and his lectures can go by without much thought in material.. At times, he seems more interested in offending you than teaching the material. I would recommend taking ECON 103 & 104 before taking the class, was a big help. He's a hard grader, especially on the final paper..

Professor Smith was a blast to learn from. He is obviously very passionate about economics and was capable of answering any questions the class would ask, which he encouraged. His enthusiasm was totally what a 7pm-10pm class needed and I found myself looking forward to each class. He made the material interesting and fun, I highly recommend him.

First time in my college years that i attended all my econ lectures. Mr.Smith makes you realize aspects that you would never have thought of. Best parts were his examples and videos that just make you say: "Oh that's why...!!" Do the readings, take good notes, ask questions, and this might be your best class in college like me! FUN, SMART, NICE!
