Easily the best professor that I've had so far. Lots of material to know for tests and quizzes, but he gives you all the information you need to know. It's just a matter of how hard and effectively you study

Professor Jeffrey is one of the best professors at HACC. He loves teaching his students and he's good at explaining the material. Plus he's a funny guy and tells good stories.

Would not recommend if you do not plan on studying. More than half my class failed the first test.

Professor Jeffrey is a great educator. He took his time learning the students' names and is willing to help any students who need the help. Tests aren't the easiest, but doable if you study the material. Most of the test materials are from lecture, so don't miss the class

The information is hard, Jeffrey tries to make it easy to understand. If you REALLY study you will do well. I got an A in the class, but it is not a grade that is handed to you, you have to earn it. I took him for lab and lecture. STUDY STUDY STUDY!

Jeffrey is incredibly nice and caring. He gets to know each student and will take the time to help you if you need it. But the class is not easy, you need to study and prepare for each test weeks in advance (they are fill in the blanks) and attend class, because the questions are only from lecture.Lab is flexible but the quizzes are oral. Not easy

Professor Jeffrey is one of the best professors I have had at HACC! Very kind and caring about his students. I have rated him easy, but difficulty is subjective. I had the time to spend hours a day studying. He makes an effort to learn every student's name. By the second class he was calling students by their first name. Top notch professor!

He is an absolutlely amazing professor!! Explains everything in great detail and provides various analogies so everyone understands the material. Tests are difficult and require studying which is expected since it is a anatomy and physiology course. Would recommend him to everyone! Only wish he also taught anatomy and physiology 2

He is a really great guy, and a good professor, but let's be honest. His tests are HARD! Unless you are willing to put aside at least 1 or 2 hours a NIGHT to study for this class, you won't do well. DO NOT take this class if you are taking more than 12 credits! There is no word bank and the test is fill in the blank so make sure you know your stuff

very interesting man, and great instructor. very good at keeping you engaged. he does give you the grade you deserve, the more effort you put in the better the grade. not an easy course, but ask him how to study and he will give you the best stratagies. he loves to use analagies to understand the context. highly advised to take his course.

Awesome prof in the pre-nursing program who tells stories with direct clinical application. He explained how to know if your unconscious patient was having trouble breathing by looking at the muscles in their neck--because they are muscles a person uses when they can't breathe and have to work hard to inhale. Amazing. This will be very useful!

Great guy! I never heard a better explanation of the different motions possible because of the way that muscles attach to the skeleton. Prof Jeffrey makes complicated things understandable. His DNA lecture was amazing--simple--! You do need chemistry & understanding of exponents & scientific notation (math) to get pH, acids & bases.

Great professor. Knew everyone's name--48 students--by the second meeting. We just had our first lecture exam, and he told us exactly everything on it. I wish I had listened and prepared, because there was a lot of chemistry on it, including the molecular structures from the Purple Book. He is so helpful and caring but he is really tough.

Oh my goodness! We just finished the first lecture exam! There was chemistry on it and molecular structures that I didn't know. (He did tell us to learn them.)I sure wish I had taken him seriously about the chemistry background. I feel lost with all this equations and chemical reactions. I never realized there was so much background needed!

One of the best teachers I have ever encountered. Cares about the students. Knows the material. Uses great analogies and real-world examples with direct clinical applications. It is important to have a good background in chemistry and biology or you will be lost in the pH and the carbohydrates & the cellular respiration.Take your prerequistes!

Great Professor who cares about his students and really knows his stuff. You need to be solid on your prerequisites and study, study, study. He will tell you exactly what is on the exam. And study. There is no substitute for preparation.
