PH160 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Ever wondered whether there was a class you could take that would make you simply a better human being? PH160 is just that and Corsentino teaches it very well. He is particularly good at explaining and the book is useless, so simply listen/participate in lecture and aim for an A in the homeworks. They aren't easy, but will guarantee you an A overal

He's great. Corsentino makes everything very easy to understand, as well as entertaining. The material might get a little boring, but the all truth tables are actually helping me out as a CS major.

Though i'm not a philosophy person, he made intro to ethics manageable and intriguing. There are plenty of grades plus one final to get your grade up. Plus, the TA i had was very helpful! You have to go to all the classes, because there are pop quizzes once a week. Not hard.

Professor Corsentino is great! I always enjoyed coming to discussions. He is entertaining and makes material relatable with anecdotes and other sorts of colorful ramblings. He is a bit of a tough grader, but is always there to help you. We were assigned simple weekly essays. He's genuine and nice. You won't be sorry if you take this class.

He is socially awkward and goes off on tangents but that just makes the class so much more entertaining. And he made us cookies on the last day of class. He is very intelligent. You can get away with using sparknotes!

Professor Corsentino is great. He takes attendance every class but makes all of his slides available online in case you miss a class or want extra resources to study with. At times lecture can be redundant but that is only because he really cares about making sure that every student understands every concept which is a very valuable trait

Great Professor! He loves what he teaches and he will help you with any philosophical question you have, class related or not. His homeworks are pretty tough, but as long as you keep up with the material you will be fine. I would recommend this class to anyone that needs a Humanities requirement.

Corsentino is a great professor, he explains everything very clearly and at times makes the material seem overly simple. If you are expecting to actually write arguments in this class DO NOT TAKE IT, you will never actually argue. You only analyze arguments, which gets boring. The teacher is good, but the material is boring. The homework sucks.

He loves what he does...and he always makes sure that students have access to notes/answers in class if they miss a lecture or need review. the assignments are challenging and some of the examples can be a little out there....but corsentino is adorably enthusiastic so is more than willing to calrify any point....he has a great vocabulary too, haha

Professor Corsentino is awesome! Very amiable and loves what he's teaching. At times lectures can drift, but for the most part he had some great insight into many of the books we read. He's also very understanding and not as strict as many other Core humanities professors can be (at least from what I hear). I highly recommend him!
