what this teacher lacks is confidence, very confusing, doubts herself every 2 seconds, hard to fully pay attention better take it with a teacher who's more confident and knows the subject well

Sonish is amazing. She tells you exactly what she wants you to focus on and explains everything well by keeping the information basic. Highly recommended!

She is nice and approachable but doesn't know her stuff. Scratch below the surface of any topic and she has no idea how anything works biologically from life cycles to classifications of organisms- you have to write exactly what is in the answer key for credit, even if the answer key is wrong or incomplete. Her notes are inconsistent with the book.

Usually plants bio is really boring, but this teacher is really clear!! If you study her slides you will get an A for the plants part of the course. I enjoyed her final exam it was 100% from the power points and NO trick questions. I would definitely take her again. Memorize the slides and the diagrams in the slides.

Dr. Azam is a great professor. she makes plants a lot more interesting than many others too. she's nice, funny and supper approachable. her exams are based on the slides that she posts!

Dr. Sonish is a fantastic teacher. She is personable, polite and very easy to talk to. She can make mundane topics (and there is a lot in this course) interesting and easy to comprehend. Her final exam is fair yet specific. Know your things, pay attention in the labs anf you should end up doing well. I would take any course with her name next to it

Dr. Azam is an absolute joy to listen to: she's always smiling, she's very helpful and she does everything in her power to help you pass. I would absolutely recommend that you take a class with her, it will brighten your semester!

Azam is an excellent teacher. If you have the choice I would absolutely recommend you take her for any bio class!

She is a very good teacher, very helpful, cheerful, and a smiling person. I enjoyed her lecture very much. This is an unfortunate situation that she is matched with Dr. Mangat for this class. Dr. Mangat lowers significantly the quality of the Concordia biology program, and Dr. Azam should teach the complete course including the plant section.

A great teacher. One of the best at Concordia. Very helpful and nice. She is very rational, doesn't bombard you with unnecessary information (that you will forget as soon as the final is finished). Attend her classes, read her slides. You will get a A+ and will have the knowledge maybe for the rest of your life.

This is a survey course, its a walk in the park. Dr. Azam is a helpful professor, and yes she is very hot!! DON'T BUY THE TEXTBOOK, print her slides and you'll be fine.

Sonish is an amazing professor obviously knows her stuff! She is always available and very friendly and wants to help. The course is VERY hard there is so much material to cover in such a short time! 1 mid-term, 1 take-home, 7 open book online quizes & 1 final. If Biology is not a pre-req for you I'd say skip it...if it is a pre-req good luck!
