acct 2110 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: A+

Overall, not a hard class. He does fly through the lectures, but most of the info in the lectures isn't on any exams. Uses problems done in class...PAY ATTENTION to those, thats mostly what he tests over. If you miss a class, good luck you will be behind quite a bit. Only complaint I have for him is his handwriting stinks!!

Acct 2110 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

Most likely the worst teacher I have had at TTU. He thinks that he is funny. He thinks that you've had accounting before this class. So be prepared to learn on your own

I cannot recommend Ricky Gentry enough. As long as you do the homework, you should get an A in the class because the homework prepares you. He zooms though the lectures, so don't expect those to help you as much. You can go back and look at the PPT for formulas and stuff. He makes sure you know what kind of questions will be on the tests.

He was okay. It was my first accounting class ever so it was kind of hard for me, but he made it fun. Just need to study some to make a B.

He is an okay teacher. The homework is time comsuming, but prepares you for the test. He goes way too fast, so be prepared to teach yourself. Going to class isn't required to make an A..you will have to learn it on your own anyways!

Such an easy class. He runs through PPT presentations with the notes really quickly, and will expect you to understand the lesson immediately. I took ACCT in high school, so this class was perfect for me. The tests weren't too hard, just be sure for the final that you borrow old tests from someone in Rand's class.

Mr. Gentry was a fantastic teacher, in my opinion. He does move along pretty quickly, but was always willing to slow down or go back to any material you might not have grasped. I didn't even buy a book for his class and still got an A. I only wish he would teach more classes. I would take any class he taught.

Mr. Gentry expects students to understand accounting terms right off the bat. The class improves as the semester continues. If you read the book, you can get an A in the class.

Mr. Gentery wasn't a bad professor by any means. His lectures were a little diffucult to understand, and he teaches really quickly. The test weren't hard at all if you study for them, and homework is very reasonable.
