Gateman's name is synonymous with four things: 80's dancing videos, sexual innuendo, awesome teaching, & impossible exams. If you enjoy/ignore the first two, you can benefit from the third to survive the fourth. TIPS: NEVER leave any question blank in exams. try not to stand out in class, he will pick on you. recommended over lemche.
gateman is the best econ prof you will get first year. If you actually get offended by his jokes..don't. Just pay attention to what he's actually teaching and you'll learn a ton more than in any other econ classes.. trust me its beneficial for future years. Exams get scaled a ton.. mine was scaled 23% first term so don't worry
Worst prof EVER! Unless you're a pretty blonde girl, then yeah, you'll like him. 1st midterm was unfair, he scaled 1/2 of the class (one Ta "screwed up", but I dont think so). Final mark came out less than 2 days after final (impossible! they were open ended questions). Asked to see final exam paper, no respond. WORST PROF EVER! You've been warned!
