Barki is a really easy prof. There's lots of reading & work sheets but she doesn't penalize for not reading or not doing the sheets. Lots of class discussion, she likes to hear the class share their perspectives. Grades very fairly. Easy A for me.

Wonderful Class. Prof.Barki is a great teacher, very helpful and goes into a lot of detail. Made the course really interesting. Attendance is mandatory, if you miss a class you miss a lot of information but if you interested in lit this is the class for you. Turned out to be my favorite of the semester. Highly recommend Prof.Barki!

Had no problem with this class nor with Ms. Barki. I graduated high school 12 years ago and just now going to college, and this was easier than the classes I had back then. Must read the articles to write the papers! Only 4 papers due during the semester, with a couple journal entries and reader responses. Do what you're supposed to and its an "A".

Terrible teacher. she grades insanely hard on her papers.. definitely not an easy A or B. if you can, take another teacher.

Terrible teacher, gets really mad for no reason then tries to cheer things back up. Gets off topic then gets mad when you are off topic yourself. Very opinionated. She's a grad student not a professor. Waste of a class. Waste of time. Lowers your grade if you do not show up or come in late. Little feedback on papers but at least you get soemthing.
