CAS 100A Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: A

She truly cares that everyone in the class does well. Show up, practice one or two times (if that) before giving a speech and you'll walk away with the grade you want.

CAS100E Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: B+

She is a super friendly professor who is willing to help whenever she can. I was freaking out about one of my speeches and she calmed me down and helped me write it. Each class gets a TA who holds help sessions which are really helpful. There is one exam which is more like a long quiz and its easy

CAS 100A Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: A

Lori is super helpful and nice. She explains everything well and the one test is very easy. The speeches are not difficult and even though I don't like public speaking this class helped prepare me for the future. **If you are in the engineering-only section you don't need the textbook at ALL!

CAS100B Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Lori is a great teacher! She makes lots of fun activities that involve everyone in the class, and makes everyone feel comfortable. Her powerpoints are very useful and always online too. The assignments are not that time consuming either. The way she makes you choose groups for projects is very efficient and makes everyone happy.

The best teach in CAS 100B. If you are afraid of public speaking, go to her classes and I am sure you will do just fine. Throughout the course, I have developed strong presentation skills and I am not afraid of the audience anymore!

Good class, she tells you exactly what to expect. The first few weeks are really fun. She does everything to help you be successful in the class. The tests are a bit tricky so make sure you do the readings. Good class, I recommend it.
