Absolutely loved her. She was real and personable. She loves what she does so much and you can see that. She loves her students and would help anyone out if needed. This class is pretty much all group work, 8 hour service project is mandatory. Loved this class and wish she taught more classes.

"Inspirational" "Better Like Group Projects" "Big time extra credit"

Connie is very passionate about competent communication and service work. Be prepared for group and volunteer work in this class. Lectures are interesting, and she allows notes on exams. With multiple extra credit opportunities, it's an easy A as long as you do the homework, such as writing the blogs. Read the book in order to pass the exams, too!

"Better Like Group Projects" "Tests? Not many" "Would take again"

Connie was a great professor. Class is not necessary, as most information for tests comes from the textbook, however going to class made this course much more enjoyable. She also gives a study guide about a week in advance for tests. The group project was pretty enjoyable, as was getting to know Connie. She is very open and actually pretty funny!

Test are not based on lectures so you can miss class and be completely fine. Requires 8 hours of service learning that you won't have time time for. Writing assignments are not clearly outlined and harshly graded. Avoid if possible.

If you don't mind being treated like a kindergartner then you wont have too much trouble with this class. Group projects are a waste of time. Basically nothing on the test is taught in the class. The papers guidelines are not explained well and grading seems arbitrary and not explained afterword. Would avoid if possible.

Connie is pretty funny as a teacher--she has recently re-evaluated her teaching style, and I enjoyed this class. Some of the lectures were long, but I learned a LOT from this class. She is really good at working with the students and clarifying topics. Didn't love the group project though.

This class was absolute garbage. The professor assigned loads of pointless busywork, and the exams were all out of the book, unrelated to anything "taught" in class. Everything was geared toward being time-consuming, so all your other classes will suffer. All-in-all, awful, incompetent adjunct professor.

Its an easy and pointless class. The professor is nice but extremely irritating and disorganized. If you like to plan a schedule and work ahead this class is not for you. She is always changing assignments and due dates. She also forgets to open tests when she says they are open. Her tests suck. Read the material or not I did about the same.

She is a great teacher! I love her. Makes class easy and great. Only needs to be a little more clear on a couple assignments and could improve on responding to emails better but great teacher. I would recommend and will take another class of hers if possible.

Connie is pretty chill. I really enjoyed this class. It was fairly easy and if you listen to the lectures and try to engage its a piece of cake.

Easy to get an A in this class with minimal effort, but I learned nothing. Lectures are boring and irrelevant to exams. Most assignments felt like busy work. Exams were unclear and poorly written. When we mentioned this to her, she told us our entire class had read the questions wrong. I wouldn't take another class from Connie.

EASIEST CLASS EVER! Connie makes the class fun and really tries to get you to understand the material. Choose your group wisely or suffer the consequences. Not too much work and she lets you bring notes into some of her tests. The tests come from the book. TAKE HER CLASS!!

VERY EASY 3 credit Gen Ed class. Teacher always has a positive attitude. Lets you out early (5 mins or so) often. Lectures can be interesting. Not required to go to class but I would. A lot of group work which is pretty much your grade. Very easy papers and lenient teacher. makes class fun.

WORST TEACHER EVER! Lectures are boring and contain no useful information that ever makes it on the tests. Very vague on expectations, and extra credit opportunities are a joke. If you can take this class from someone else, then save yourself the pain. Tests are impossible even if you read the textbook.

Took that class to fulfull general requirement. Lecutures were boring. Easy grading on papers, wrote all of them the night before. Don't have to go to class. I missed a month straight through the middle. Still pulled of an A.

Fun Class. I did not like the test format however there were extra credit opportunities that made up for it. I like the group projects and getting to know the people in the class.

I thought she was a great teacher. She was not at all difficult although sometimes her ideas for papers need some clarity. She tried to lecture quickly to let us leave early if possible and she allowed some notes for tests.

The class is challenging, but useful in its information. The professor's grading is strict, but fair. The exams are interesting and somewhat difficult, but as I understand it, these are required elements for that course. An "A" is possible, but you have to do the work to achieve the desired grade. Professor is very approachable & nice.

I would avoid this prof at all costs. No one got an A in this class, although everyone put much effort into it. All she does is boring lectures, and her grading and tests are illogical and excessively tough. This class in general is somewhat of a drag, but she has something against giving A's to anyone.
