I've been out of college for 15 years now and I still have my information from Soberiaj's classes at Mizzou. He was funny, interesting, smart and made the class fun to attend. The key is "go to class"!!!!! Thanks to him and his great advice, my husband (who also had Sobieraj) and I own a franchise of restaurants.

Great teacher. If he isnt clear the first time around, just ask and he will explain. I scored A's on every assignment and test. How did I do it? I attended class, took notes (he practically gives them to you already typed up), and studied. Isnt that what you do in school? Those who wrote negative reviews need to rethink your career goals.

Sobierja is not your typical professor. He yells and screams from time to time, but it's because he has passion for what he's teaching. Yes, attendance and note taking are key to passing his class, but what he teaches you is worth it. He knows what he's talking about and you'll use it in your work life.

HMGT273 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

This man is crazy. His textbooks are useless to the class because he will switch subjects randomly throughout class. You must attend every class or there will be no way to pass. His hand writing is awful, and he will randomly start screaming in class. He is unavoidable in the culinary program so find a friend who has the past tests you can study.

Not a very hard class, but not easy. The information is priceless and does come in handy while on the job. Do your work and take notes. Notes are a must. Test are 50+ questions generally short answer/essay.
