THEO-027 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Very friendly professor, willing to get to know her students. Tests get really specific, although its pretty much all in the lectures she gives, be sure to take good notes. An easy A-/B+ but hard to get an A especially on papers. you definetly, gotta go to class, notes aren't on blackboard+takes attendance every time at the beginning

THEO-027 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: A-

Great professor, really sweet and easy. Very willing to talk over papers and subject matter with you, quizzes are based on lectures, but remember obscure facts and dates, those will be on there. Essays are really short. Attendance is taken.

THEO 001 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: B

3-two page papers + 2 exams = grade; downside: if you don't get an A on exam (30% of grade) then your screwed. Hard grader on papers. Lectures NOT on blackboard so take good notes (everything in lecture on exam so don't have to read) Overall, not an easy A class but work is minimal; you'll most likely will get an A- or B+

THEO 001 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Professor Cline is a fantastic lecturer and kept us awake (8 am class). Always made sure we understood the arguments. Need to do the readings for the reflection papers and the exams aren't hard if you go over the content

Theo 001 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Professor Cline is a pretty easy professor. She takes attendance daily, so you need to go to class. The class is pretty easy though, with 3 reflection papers, two exams, and this semester: NO FINAL! She is by far one of the best POG professors!

She is clear, sweet, and extremely enthusiastic. She covers all the important points in class, so you will never be completely surprised during tests. Class participation counts for a larger portion of your grade than you would expect, though.

GREAT Problem of God professor! Readings are helpful but definitely not required, because she tells you the main points in class. Takes attendance every class. Two two-page papers, two quizzes, and two tests - no final this semester because she was pregnant. Genuinely cares about her students - talk to her!. One of the best profs I've had so far!

Cline is a very nice prof, crystal clear lecturer, and genuinely wants you to do well. Attendance is mandatory (and strictly enforced at the beginning of each class) however this is to your benefit because tests (3 throughout the semester) draw mostly on class notes. The two 4-5 papers were very fairly graded. ...I'd take Cline again for sure!

THEO115 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

This was my second time taking Prof. Cline. Her enthusiasm for the subject is evident and pretty contagious. I'm seriously considering either majoring or minoring in theology because she made the material so interesting. She is crystal clear in her expectations for assignments. Can get slightly awkward, but she's a really sweet person overall.

Theo001 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Professor Cline was a great POG teacher! She is straightforward with what she expects on papers... only two 1-2 reflections all semester, quizzes, mid-term and final. She really cares about her students and makes an attempt to know everyone. Attendance is mandatory, but she makes class interesting and loves when students ask questions. TAKE HER!

I took Problem of God with her and absolutely LOVED it! You should do the reading because she cares about discussion, but you can get away with not because she explains everything PERFECTLY. Papers are easy enough, and the midterm is an open book, take-home multiple choice. Take her if you can.

THEO001 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

I thought she was completely unwilling to work with students. I wrote a bad paper, and wanted another chance to see what she was looking for in a paper. She rudely refused (not kindly declined) to look at (not even give me a new grade) a rewritten paper. Bad teacher for first semester students who need to adjust to college.

You don't even have to do the reading, she explains it really well in class. Papers, mid term and the final was all pretty easy. Easy grader as well, very helpful and encouraging. Definitely recommend her.
