For a Gen ed this class is ridiculously hard. Her lectures are just pictures and she talks about things that aren't on the test. You NEED to read the book to basically teach yourself. Shes a nice person but shes not a good teacher. Deff knows her stuff but cant teach it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Don't be like me and think it will be okay. It wont

This professor is very intelligent. She makes you work to your best ability with creative thinking. This class was for Science majors who have already had a general physics base. You will bust your butt but it will help you in the long run. GO TO HER OFFICE HOURS she can be a great help. You need a open mind and a good attitude and you will be fine

Avoid this professor if possible. She is a stubborn woman who thinks her weird teaching methods work well. I assure you that they do not. Unless you make her class your absolute number one priority, you will not walk away with a good grade.

She's a godawful teacher. This was a required science elective for non-science majors and she probably ended up destroying a lot of people's GPA's. She bombards you with math, assumes you know how to do it, and doesn't care if you don't. Half of what she talks about isn't on the test and she's a control freak with assigned seating. Avoid her.

Goes thru material too quickly and it feels like the info from lecture is hardly on the tests. Tests are packed with too much info and are near impossible. She expects everyone to be an expert in the field. Entirely too hard of a class for an intro course. She really thinks shes funny when she's just awkward.Take another teacher to save your sanity

Told our class it's hard to get an Am AND WHY? This is a gened class, we don't care. Tests are collaborative but make no sense. Lectures are a bunch of pictures, completely useless. The prof is pointed out to be wrong at least once a lectre. If you have any hope to get a B/A you will have to read the book front to back 50x and pray to the ast gods.

One thing about Mission to the planet is that you will be doing huge amounts of math. Its almost more of a math class than an astronomy class and she thinks that everyone is a math genius. Wayy to hard for an elective. If you can pick another class you should because you will walk away from this one with a bad taste in your mouth

Kraal's class was difficult. For an intro course I think that it was a little too intense. BUT she is extremely helpful, and a very sweet person. You will do okay in the class if you do well on labs because the tests are very hard.

NOT A NORMAL ASTRONOMY CLASS!!! For any math major this class is the best option to take for a science. LOTS OF MATH! for non math majors, easy to attain a B if you go to all the labs & lectures. For a math major, easy to get an A. Lots of extra credit. The teacher is very knowledgeable & friendly.

Kraal makes this class HARD. WAY to much math. She makes this class,(an elective) seem like we are all majors within this area. Her instructions are not clear. When half of the class did not turn in an assignment, she said the assignment was clear. When 90% of the class failed a test, and THEN the retest, she thought it was us.Most studentsdropped
