STATS215
The material learned in this class was difficult but easier than taking 217. The tests were composed of 5 problems, each one being one of the homework problems we were assigned in class.
STAT215
The quizzes and tests come straight from the homework, same numbers and everything, no surprises. The final comes from previous quiz and test problems. He posts the answers to quizzes and tests, which is useful for studying. Downside is that crib sheets aren't allowed, so it is up to you to remember all the formulas.

Dr. Bohner is the epitome of a great teacher. He helps if you ask for it, and the class has consistent structure (i.e no surprises). He tries to help everyone be in a position to at least pass too. Overall, he's highly recommended.

Amazing professor. Very lenient, but he can be strict about certain things. Tests are straightforward, not "off-the-wall" tests like in some classes.

He is the best math teacher i have ever had! very helpful, clear and intelligent. Getting A in his class is very easy!

He's a very understandable teacher,however his TA was horrible!I understood everything in lecture,but when it came time to the quizzes given in recitation,they were nothing like we had discussed in class.I am going to end up with a good grade,but go to every class because he takes away points for absenses and there are clicker points. Have fun!

At first I thought Dr. Bohner was a tool. After I came to know him better and appreciate his sense of humor, I found him to be an interesting character that was fun to be around. He's by the book, no extra points for effort, what you get is what you've worked for so you know what to expect. I hope to see him teaching my advanced calculus courses.

he has a good sense of humour and always make math fun to learn. he cares a lot about the students comprehension and he take it to the most significant detail about the students. he even knows the student's name without checking a roster.

Dr. Bohner is a great professor. He works to help you understand the material and learns every student's name in a 120ish person lecture. Also he tries to lighten things up by making little jokes in his lecture. If you want a great professor he is the one to have. Enjoy!

Dr. Bohner really knows what he is talking about. He is very helpful if you have any questions at all. It is a difficult class, but it is definitely manageable if you work hard and do the homework.

Bohner does a fantastic job at motivating people to attend class and learn the subject. He is extremely knowledgeable about the subject and will help anyone seeking such.

He is an excellent teacher! He talks a little fast, but as long as you pay attention and take down all the notes, an A isn't a problem!

This teacher is a nice guy but does not speak english very well. Very hard to understand and does not answer questions directly and try to talk AROUND the questions you ask. I had to drop the course due to my inablity to learn from him. I even went to outside tutoring, which i found helpful, and his "LEAD" sessions which i found a joke and useless.
