Tries hard, difficult to understand, too much talking, makes the simple complex, lots of energy but not enough focus, made me nervous. I think she could become a better instructor over time, but for now she's very intense, wordy and takes too much energy for the benefit gained. Practice may improve her style, try her class in about 2018 or so.

The thing about this class is that most people hated it, but that's because they didn't understand it. The ideas discussed are far more complex than what most student's are used to. I learned an enormous amount on a wide variety of topics and really loved the class. The professor is a bit ambitious, but can certainly teach and is very engaging.

Not recommended at all. I literally finished the semester asking myself if I learned anything new from her class. Unfortunately, the answer was no. She doesn't make her learning outcomes clear; she incorporates a bunch of irrelevant topics into the lecture. Very disappointing class. Avoid it for your own good.

Lectures were often tedious where the professor would ramble on about various subjects. The objectives of the course are very unclear and the material is very vague. For the term project it is wise to get a lot of help from your TA or the professor

Not what I had expected prior to enrolling in the class. It's not clear what the learning outcomes of the class are. She is a nice professor personality-wise, but I can never understand what she expects or how she wants things done.

I can't say enough good things! Her lectures were interesting and engaging, she really cares about her students, and the course itself was incredibly enlightening. You can tell she worked really hard to create a good class. Without a doubt one of the best professors I have had.
