Great Prof. Has accent. had extra credit since he is away his class is considered a "killer course", but the class wasn't all that difficult so long as you did your work which was about 3 or 4 5 page papers

Professor Saito is great. No tests, just three 5 pg papers. The TA grades them pretty harshly, but you are allowed to rewrite. He gives pop quizzes almost every class (2 questions) that also count for attendance too. He usually tries to trick you on those but you automatically get a point for attendance. Need textbook to write papers.

Hella boring class, attendance not mandatory (not even encouraged). No need to do the readings, just do the basic requirements for the papers and you pass the class.

Prof. Saito is a extremely knowledgable and explains social theory very well. I really enjoyed his class overall and would take any of his classes in the future. He is a strict grader to a certain degree and will push you to write better. If you work hard, follow directions and act respectfully you will really enjoy this class.

Very energetic! Helpful, very nice. Good at explaining material and does so in a good manner. Has a really good sense of humor. Grading on papers can be intimidating, but really teaches you how to write a good paper in his feedback! Excellent teacher. I would take his class again!

super funny guy! easy class!! attend his class every now and then to understand the chapters for the paper. He might be japanese but his english vocabulary is alot bigger than most of us students!! (btw im a C average student and there were only 4 essays..no exams)

This guy really knows his stuff. he sends us emails to help clarify concepts we went over in class if we got stuck on them. the class is very doable..no exams just essays and an extra credit opportunity. you learn a lot by going to class and he posts up powerpoints so we can refer back to them to do our essays. hes funny too!

Hiro is funny, youthful, and smart. you don't have to go class. No exams, just 4 essays where you compare chosen theorists and their theories to current events or your life. Go to class if you can't understand the text book because he explains the readings well. He posts power points online after class
