DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!! She can't seem to adapt to semesters and will change the syllabus almost weekly. SHE doesn't stick to it but you're expected to. She won't stay on topic but the tests (she swore and yelled at us before the first midterm) pretend that she did.She also added an unnecessary research paper which she doesn't explain well. AVOID

Maybe because it was a summer class, but this class was just awful. Thankfully the midterms were takehome, because most of the stuff on them we hadn't even lectured over yet, and went over AFTER the midterm. Most classes we watched movies and she also decided the last week of class that we need to write a fullout APA paper. Got an A, would not rec.

The class is very unorganized, I did not attend after the 1st test, and still received an A. You can get all the information you need from the slides she posts on carmen and by reading the assigned books. Also, anyone who had an A after the first two tests did not have to take the final.

It is worth it to go to every class, just to hear her stories. She is very good at explaining concepts and encouraging you to think for yourself instead of just passively reading about and accepting results from studies.

Fantastic prof! One of my favorites ever. Class isn't mandatory, but if you show up and listen, you'll do fine on the midterms. It's worth it to go to class just to hear her stories, she's hilarious. Also as a bonus to graduating seniors, the final is optional. Five star professor, all the way

Take this class! She is hilarious and knows her stuff. If you don't mind hearing her funny life stories you will love this class. Better than any other psych class i took as an undergrad. Sally is so helpful and her tests are easy if you study a little. Such an interesting professor!

I really enjoy prof.Boysen's class. Its interesting and enjoyable. I find her teaching style refreshing. Its nice to be in a class where a teacher treats you like a person and not just some annoying student.

This was the easiest psych class I took here believe it or not. The stuff is interesting! She is one of the top 50 women in science and she is super intelligent. She's sure passionate, but she's engaging and a good teacher. Great class!

The woman is crazy. Has a lot of experience and is knowledgeable but definitely crazy. If you don't go to class don't expect to know what's going on in regards to test dates/ info because she doesn't seem to know either... Just pieces things together when students raise their hands in confusion.

Dr. Boysen is an awesome teacher. She is hilarious and very intelligent. Her class was very challenging and difficult but it is worth taking if you work hard at it. I would definitely recommend taking her as a professor.

Dr. Boysen is an extremely knowledgeable person. She made class interesting because she always had stories that would relate to what we were learning. Almost all of her stories have to deal with her chimps that got taken from her. Overall easy class. She gives study guides and that's what's on the tests!
