"Skip class? You won't pass." "Lectures are long" "Tough Grader"

Always sounds unorganized. Grades out of 100. Class attendance matters. Doesn't update online.

PSCI180 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: B-

I have been read his book since the beginning of the semester, but his exams are very hard. I highly recommend you to take another teacher. The first 20 minutes of each class will be spent in laughing and spreading jokes. Almost he will rap up all the chapters, like each chapter will take 2 classes for him. His quizzes and mid-term are super hard.

American Govt Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Shouldn't a class be easy enough to pass without extra credit? Going to class every week is almost a waste of time due to the amount of material he DOESN'T TEACH. How is a student supposed to be confident walking into a test if they don't feel confident that they learned anything walking out of lecture. Don't take this guy.

PSCI A180 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

His method of presenting the material is a bit weak. He mostly skims through outlines of the chapter, then expects you to read it in its entirety (even though its a complex dry subject). His quizes are very hard. Also, for a US Gov teacher he comes off as too biased (he's very right leaning) and has said some things that have raised eyebrows.

He gets sidetracked at times. All the assignments are important!!! Attendance is not mandatory but beware there are days where if the class is empty after the first half, he will feel generous and give EC to those who are in class. Book is used and just remembering terminology will get you by.

PSCI 180 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Like others have said, he quickly skims over content and often gets distracted in this lectures. I would try to find someone else before taking this class... He's not the worst, but he needs serious improvement. The midterm and final are deceptively "easy" and will hurt your grade. Don't miss a day if you want to pass. Honestly.

Drew Rendell has the class laughing alot of the time but dont let that mislead you because he demands respect. So dont text, talk, or god forbid fall asleep. Just dont do it. When it comes to the quizzes theyre pretty easy, the exams are hard. He QUICKLY skims through the chapters with a power point and gives a generous amount of EC opportunity.

Nice guy - this was a summer class - it got rushed to the point of unnecessary - the final was hard - too hard for a crashed summer course - all in all i liked the teacher and would want to take his class in a 16 week forum - too much info to cover in 6 weeks and be expected to remember this much - i would consider pass/no pass
