I loved professor Keel, absolutely loved him. We formed a 14 year common law marriage that produced 11 children, three of which are tenured professors at Ivy League Universities. Now that he's fat and bald I cannot bare the sight of him.

Very difficult teacher to follow. He expects you to remember every shred of math you've ever learned beforehand. Puts almost zero effort into assigned homework and the making of his exams. No cheat sheets and no curve. I found out the last week of class that 2/3 of the class was cheating. Do not take him unless you have to, you'll thank me later.

Note I have never rated a prof in the 4 years I've been at ut but feel compelled here. Dr keel is strict, scattered and does not care about you feelings; that being said the man is brilliant and your skills as an mathematician will increase drastically while in his class. If you can and are willing to do the work take his class.

He's very strict, will put up with no nonsense, and he doesn't care at all if you're having problems in life outside of class. He just wants the homework done and on time, regardless of whatever is happening in your life, which is understandable. His lectures are very scattered, & he likes to change variable names multiple times through a problem

Prof Keel is an amazing professor. He is appears to be hyperactive during his lectures, and anytime that I saw him. If you aren't clear on something that is predatory, review on your own time not his. He is very busy, and hasn't time to waste.
