Ward is a great teacher. A little fast but definitely knows his math. He loves his job and enjoys teaching, but attending class is mandatory if you want to pass. Overall, I enjoyed taking his class and would not mind having him as a teacher again.

He really tries to get the point across. He's a good teacher, he just struggles communicating with the class. Over half of the class wont say a word for the entire semester. Gives plenty of extra credit and as long as you show up everyday and take notes you'll pass. Curves the test too.

Does an okay job at teaching the class, though tends to forget that we are not at his level. There are few tests in this class, so the tests that are given are on several chapters. It is easy to forget what was previously learned and he does not do in class reviews prior to the tests. The test averages are LOW.

He is very knowledgeable and willing to help his students. You must keep up with optimath, or you will not pass the class. He is very willing to help his students.

I think he is a great teacher. He works really hard on explaining the "Why" in math. I enjoyed taking his class and wish he taught other math classes. An enjoyable class.

Ward totes goes out of his way to help. All I'd suggest is come to class with questions to avoid some of his sidetracked lectures on math theory. Not bad looking either...

Ward is really great prof. He knows his job is to help us learn the material, so goes out of his way to make sure everybody gets it. Too bad people at CR are horrible students and never show up to class or doe their homework. There is basically no way to fail if you do those two things since Ward answers ALL questions from students.

Professor Nickle taught Statistics and he had a varied group of talented students. However instead of maintaining the pace of the class to fulfill his original goals, he slowed down and utilized many different teaching methods to adapt to all of his students individualized needs. He was great!! Just talk to him and tell him how to teach you!!

Knows the material, but has a hard time explaining it, and staying on track. Will go off on random tangets on the history of the math theory...when he should be teaching us how to do the problem. Nice enough guy, but very un-organized.

very helpful. he would spend a half hour of each class going through our homework, so we always got good grades on it. the tests were really easy (it was pre-algebra though, so keep that in mind) he tried really hard to make sure everyone passed. nice guy.

Younger teacher, pretty cool, I can tell that he knows what he's talking about but he isn't very good at explaining it. Don't take him unless you have taken Math 120, because he will not review ANYTHING with you, he'll just expect you to know the material.
