Took him online class was pretty swift but he was very clear to understand and made sure we were aware of assignments. I passed with an A but I hated taking an online class doing the group project. Overall pretty easy class and even the teaching assistant was quick to respond to all questions and concerns.

He makes this class as hard as possible. The class wrote a paper and the class average was a D/F. The class either failed or passed with a D. Please pick another teacher or school!!!

There is so much material and the instructions seem to be all over the place. His grading method is beyond belief. He makes things a lot harder than they should be. He does not realize we are learning this stuff, not teaching it. TAKE SOMEONE ELSE! Over half of the class failed!

Boyar is a perfect example of someone who makes things overly hard just to seem smart or above his students. I made an A and I STILL think the guy is cocky and anal. That should tell you something. If you are going to take his class take my advice. Assume that the smallest details will be on the exam. He likes to slam students.

SO MUCH MATERIAL! Tests are VERY thorough, so make sure you know details AND overall themes. Participate in class and be very willing to ask questions and use office hours. Office hours will seriously help your understanding. NEVER take this online. I can't even imagine that, although his handouts are extremely helpful. Project was severe.

Covered a lot of material, but it was VERY interesting to listen to how everything fit together. Many students didn't like all the paperwork and assignments we had, but compared to other majors, it really wasn't a big deal. Definitely learned a lot. He was very detail oriented, so be careful and thorough. Study a couple of days (3-4) before tests.

Took online & he was a wonderful. Exactly what an online instructor should be..encouraging, helpful, fair, stayed in constant (weekly) communication. Would definitely take again!

Online class covered a lot of material. He had a few technical problems with online tests, but was fair when it came to fixing the mistakes. Overall a fair professor who is trying hard to teach difficult material.

Entirely too detailed and too much material is covered in 1 semester. Overanalyzes every single detailed. Kind of anal. He need to teach this class in 2 semesters with the material he requires.
