he is really easy and chill. 30 mins group presentation, 4 commentary, and midterm is take home essay and 10 MC questions, 6 pop quizzes. easy A class overall.

Not the most interesting, but the nicest professor I have met at UCSD. Class seems to be intimidating at first, but throughout the quarter you will find it is really not that bad

Very good orator but also very redundant. As long as you can write analytically and coherently it should be easy.

He's a pretty nice guy. The class looked really intimidating in the beginning (4 short essays at 8 percent each), one midterm essay and a final paper of 5-6 pages and a 20 min group presentation but it worked out. Lectures are boring and not focused but if you are a master of bs'ing essays and go to class then you're good. He's pretty vague though.

A lot of reading, but not all necessary. super lenient grading. Easy A if you put into effort.
