I enjoyed this class. I didnt buy a textbook, but i took good notes. He is a good teacher. Funny. I enjoyed the sarcasm, which made it more enjoyable. I look forward to his teaching for my next Acc class.

Great class, attendance is not mandatory but if you are a slower learner, and reading is not your forte. Then attend class and it will be much better. Specially if you work long hours.

Very funny guy, sometimes a little weird. Tests are very fair in general. I only wished he could organize more his notes on the blackboard, since that is the key to get an A on his tests. Pay attention in class, take as many notes as you can, and you will probably get an A with him. I hate ACC, but he made me enjoy this class

He is a bit on the odd side, but overall he's a great teacher. He makes hard concepts easy to understand. He's doesn't give study guides, but everything on his tests is talked about during class. Take notes, pay attention, and it should be an enjoyable class.

He's sarcastic and will call you out but he cares and he teaches. Easy tests but you do learn. Take notes, book not necessary.

If all that matters to u is grades then you should take this class. Everything he says in class will be on test, easy A. But if you would like to major in accounting I wouldn't advise you. This class is for people who understand by explanation not by doing journal entries.

Jacob very clearly knows accounting exceptionally well. He is also very good at putting himself in our shoes, and knowing in advance if we're going to have trouble with a topic and how to approach teaching it to us. He keeps things interesting with his personality which can take some getting used to, but he's endearing and overall a good teacher.

He definitely knows what he's talking about and tries to make it easier for the average Joe to understand. I only started to read the book when we got into the more difficult chapters. Do the practice assignments and pay attention in class. His tests are all based on his lectures. I would definitely recommend taking his class.

Jacob is a really great professor and explained every concept until every student understood it. He reviewed concepts from 211 that I'm not sure my previous prof even taught. He's really funny without realizing it and prepares you for all his tests.

You might not know it on the first day of class but he's a really great teacher. He makes the book make sense and anything you find unclear he will find another way to explain it to you... I'm taking he's class again this semester. :)

Coming from a different Accounting teacher prior to him. I can say it was a HUGE difference. I, along with other classmates from my previous accouting class felt we were actually learning something. He is really quick when he teaches because he clearly knows this stuff like the back of his hand. But if you just ask him to slow down etc, he will.
