Very knowledgeable and passionate about Sociology and Criminology. If she does repeat her-self is to make sure other students comprehend the material. However, if you attend to every lecture and pay close attention there's no reason to not get an A for the course. Highly Recommend her !!!

Overall, I enjoyed this class. She only assigned one project, two papers, a midterm and a final all semester. The content was very interesting. However, I agree that she loves to hear herself talk, thinks of herself very highly, and basically says the same things over and over all class. She is a pretty easy grader, which was nice.

Great class, Great teacher. You feel like you have learned a lot. Absolutely mind-opening. Twp exams, one project, two papers. Highly recommend everyone to take it.

Ms. Taylor loves to hear herself talk. She says a LOT without saying anything at all. She tries to wear you down so that her 'theories' sink in. She has a very high opinion of herself and constantly boasts of her achievements.

Great Teacher! Make sure you ue all your text books and read the case studies. I would have an A if I had done so. Her class requires a LOT of work, so don't take it when you have sciences or advanced math in the same semester. She has a long history in Sociology. Best teacher STLCC employs!

I really liked this class. Learned a lot. Interesting lectures, very good prof. Kinda hard but always fair. I recommend it.

She'll try to intimidate you at the beginning of the semester, but don't fret about it. She's very nice, slightly strict, but the class is overall not very difficult.

I LOVED this class. At first I wasn't sure, but it turned out to be my favorite class. I wish it was longer than just one semester.

She seems really passionate about teaching us sociology, and she keeps explaining until it sticks. She's interesting to listen to, I enjoy going to her class. The mid-term was kind of hard, and she expects high level of effort on papers, but not unreasonably high. She's a good professor.

Shes a very caring kind of instructor that wants to see her students succeed. Shes super nice and understanding...BUT if you're looking for an easy grade, don't go to her. I would't call her class hard, but it's definitely not slacker territory. She covers a lot. I'd recommend for serious students.

Very Good. Comes off as really hard the first week of classes. After that she is very laided back and nice. Very interesting lectures!

If your up for a challenge, this is the professor for you. There are only around 4 graded assignments during the semester (2 tests, 1 paper and maybe 1 quiz)so if you mess up on one you mine as well drop the class. The tests cover a couple months at a time but are under 15 questions so it makes them more difficult to study for. Stay away!!!
