great prof. will go out of his way to help you out. makes accounting fun. more than fair in every case. his exams are exactly what he teaches you. i would take him anyday in a heart beat

Alym is a great teacher, he's obviously passionate about accounting as well as teaching it. He explains the material very well and is always willing and available to help out with questions and problems. He manages to get everyone engaged and has a great sense of humour. I wish he was teaching Arts- I would have definitely picked his classes.

SO helpful. Makes concepts extremely easy to understand. And if you need more clarification, he never makes you feel like you're wasting his time. Replies to emails well within a day, sometimes even in minutes. A really hard class, especially if you hate finance, but he makes it easy to understand.

The NICEST and most helpful prof I have ever had at Kwantlen in my 4 years. Replies to emails within minutes sometimes, and never takes longer than a day to reply. His replies to emails are always so helpful, and he asks if you need further clarification. Lots of work, and not an easy class, but he's extremely fair.

OMG he is such a busy guy, but very helpful, he will be there and sit there to help you. He tries his very best to help everyone while he multitasks during his office hrs, he cares about our learning, answers ur emails like in i dont know, like in 2 mins. He tries to be funny and enthusiastic with a boring dry class with accounting. tests are hard.

Alym is great! I was scared to take finance but Alym makes class interesting, and he is incredibly helpful. Just make sure you ask for clarity prior to the midterm and he will be open with you as to what to expect. DEFINITELY TAKE HIM. Probably the best finance instructor at Kwantlen.

Alym is a great teacher. He takes the time to ensure you understand the concepts before moving on. He makes the class interesting and his tests are straightforward, and on what he taught in class. Awesome Teacher, Highly recommended!

He makes an effort to keep class entertaining. His midterms are straight forward if you do all the wileyplus assignments + quizzes. He's a fair marker but tends to put us into accounting groups in the beginning of the semester which actually doesnt show much help because a lot of people are freeloaders. I'll recommend him

Halfway through the term already, we have a ton of assignments and quizzes every week, but he actually makes accounting fun. The class would otherwise be SOOOOO boring. Great teacher.

Alym is the best teacher that I've ever had. When I first signed up for accounting I was really hesitant but he made it enjoyable. Make sure to keep up with the assignments and ask questions!

I had him last semester and I actually looked forward to coming to class. Extremely approachable and friendly. He was very helpful and wants to see his students succeed which was motivating for the class. He'll explain the concepts until you understand them, don't be afraid to say you don't get it because he will explain it. Highly recommen

Alym is awesome what more can I say. He friendly, approachable, and extremely knowledgeable. Kwantlen is lucky to have him a part of the Accounting Faculty. The course is great as the concepts you learn are applicable in real world scenarios. An A in this course is achievable, just put in the time and practice practice. I highly recommended him!!
