5/29/08 ECON694 3 1 1 4 emoticon_unhappy flag   Salerno is arrogant and irrelevant. He cares more about getting published than teaching. He ignores emails and grade on a whim rather than productive feedback. Useless, should retire.
1/2/08 FIN644 4 5 5 4 emoticon smiley flag   One of the best at Pace.If you're interested in the subject, take him!He does not just use the textbook, but also teaches from Rothbard. Discusses newspaper articles in the beginning of class. You will have to do a reasonable amount of work to get an A.He tries to answer every question and is very helpful. His grading is fair, clear and transparent.
12/26/07 ECO616 4 4 3 3 emoticon smiley flag   A bit of a scatterbrain, but he knows the subject well. Tests can be tricky, but you'll do fine if you study. Class can be boring at times, but also interesting. If you read the text go to class, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to get a B or better.
1/12/06 INT 296Q 2 4 4 5 emoticon smiley flag   A very good teacher, knows his stuff well. Makes the class interesting, but isn't always prepared, and sometimes assigns vague assignments. Nonetheless, a great professor, will give you an A if you can write well, and he's available for extra help when you need it.
7/9/05 FIN 644 2 1 2 4 emoticon_unhappy flag   What is an economics professor doing teaching Finance? Has no business teaching this course. Only cares about his own opinion and teaches straight from the textbook. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. Uses old material and does not care what you have to say if it is not in line with his thinking. He should stick to Economics.
