If he isn't the most interesting, caring teacher at the university, I don't know who is. He's the best. ever. TAKE HIM.

He was an amazing professor. His lecture notes were crystal clear and made the concepts very easy to understand. I almost didn't have to go to class because the notes were so helpful for the exams but he was so engaging that I wanted to go!

Maybe it's just me, but I thought this class was painfully boring. That said, Adams is a good lecturer and his power points are all you need to study for the course. Not as easy of an A as a lot of comments make it out to be--requires a lot of studying/memorization.

Dr. Adams is one of the most outstanding professors at BU. He is extremely knowledgable about the curriculum, genuinely interested in his students' experience, and readily accessible outside class. He has incredible oratory skills, and creates PowerPoint slideshows that make even advanced topics easily accessible. Outstanding lecturer and course!

Amazing professor!!! his slides have all the information you need (I didn't really end up using my textbook except for discussion). His office hours are extremely helpful not that I had many questions to ask since his in-class explanations are very clear. I highly recommend him!!!

Best professor I have had at BU by far. He is the model of what every professor should be. There is a lot of information but he makes it as simple as possible. His powerpoints are extremely detailed so you don't even need the textbook. You can tell how much he genuinely cares about his students. Tests cover a lot of information but are fair.

Fantastic professor. He's inspired me to explore research as a possible career option. Lectures are interesting, he genuinely cares if you visit him and will help you in any possible way. He will make sure you understand the material, and expects you to for exams. Different from a regular Bio class where cramming is the only way out. Brilliance.

Well this was the first time a course like this was taught at BU. Come in with previous AP/IB Bio, and you'll be fine. Otherwise, have fun. Labs match lecture, which was nice, and there is no major curve. He's a great lecturer, posts slides, responds to emails, always in office during office hours.

Very good lecturer. Textbook is unnecessary, though it is nice to know that the professor who wrote the book is in BU. Dr. Adams' exam questions are all multiple choice but can be very tricky; you need to really know the details. Understand every slide and you will get A. He clearly spends a lot of time making the slides because they are elaborate.
