MICRO 23 Taken for Credit:Yes Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Rexach was a poor professor for this online course. It was the first time this class was offered, so there were a lot of issues, but she wasn't flexible nor attentive. She did not get back to questions promptly and made it seem like this class was at the bottom of her priorities. The book was not necessary at all. Easy class, but not fun at all.

Great person. Taught the class as if everyone was already familiar with subject matter. I felt she is too busy with her life to teach. We had to cram the last two lectures at the end because last exam and final at same time. Lots of extra credit opportunities. Study guides were less than helpful. Good Luck!!!

ANAT 36 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

She spent the whole semester talking about herself, so much that we didn't have enough time to finish the lectures, so she had to cram & teach us everything at the end. She had us take a midterm & final on same day. She's very tough and u can get a decent grade with the extra credit but probably wont learn much because she is a horrible professor.

She will make you work hard for your grade. Don't take the class if your hoping for an easy A. There is a lot of extra credit opportunities that can make up a hard test.

I took Micro 1 in 2009 and I loved her class. Its a very tough class if you don't study or work at it but even if you do bad on a test and attend club meetings etc you get xtra credit points to boost your grade up and its just for showing up...I don't see anything wrong with boosting a bad grade

She is not a good professor. She is always preoccupied with her concerts and her club that she's an advisor for than actually teaching a class. If your in her club I'm sure you'll do fine since that seems to be her main priority. Forget about getting a good grade if your not. It's a shame because this was a subject I was really excited about taking

I heard such great reviews about her but when I actually took her class this semester she was scatter brained and everywhere. She seemed pre-occupied by other things and missed lectures which doesn't help when it comes to test time. I'm typically good student but with her being so unorganized it can hurt someone really trying when she's not there.

Dr Rexa organized field trip to USC medical center for our class. Her class is not for slacker. You gotta work hard to earn the grade. However, she offered a lot of extra credit from helping out in her supervising club / society that made me feel unfair because many people boost up grade from C to B by this. So grade is not a reflect from her class

Dr. Rexach is an amazing professor who has great stories to share that correlate to the subject. Micro 1 is an extremely hard class, A LOT of work is expected, and it's definitely not for slackers. I worked hard and received the grade that showed that =) Dr. Rexach is very passionate about teaching and doing so much for others!!

Seriously if you get to the end of this review...you are READY to take her class with a B or above. The material itself is pretty hard (loads of memorization), but is doable with all the material she gives. Make sure to PAY ATTENTION in LAB because it is the practicums that mess people over. This is a UC style-type class, so expect nothing less!

A very tough class that had me stressing all semester but not impossible if you do the work and stay up to date on all the work. Do pathogen sheets way ahead of time. Study guides are helpful but not all test material is off of them

If you take bus to school, there is no time to attend her extra credit hours, nor her extra time for study. She gives study guide but she does not follow study guide. she does not help with bacteria study guide. If you are stuck with finding answers for bacteria study guide, you might as well drop the class. She talks off topic.

Loved her class. Lecture notes are sufficient to study for exams. Lab quiz almost every week, sometimes 2x/week, keeps you on your toes. Keep up with pathogen sheets or suffer the consequences. Plenty of x-credit opportunities. Keep up with the material (study guides) and it'll be chill. It's a lot of stuff, so be prepared!

like everyones said, she expects a lot from her students, but i think thats how a good teacher should be. doesnt allow you to settle or herself to settle. TOUGH TEACHER but not impossible, DO WHAT IS EXPECTED and youll have an amazing semester with her. AMAZING teacher, not an easy a, not for slackers. very helpful. love her, even on her bad days

Dr. Rexach is brilliant, strong, passionate, entertaining, and caring. Her online notes are great, print them out and annotate. She provides images online and welcomes questions, because she wants everyone to make connections with what they know. If SI sessions are available, use them before exams. Study with coloring books, buy Martini text.

She is an amazing person. She has a vigorous appearance, but she holds a soft spot for her students. Her expectation was high,so you're expected to be overwhelmed with assignments.Quizzes and exams were difficult because I didn't study often. The questions were straight forward and not tricky, but you can't just eliminate the possibles.Must know facts.
