12/28/09 PHIL1020 1 1 2 4 emoticon_unhappy flag   This professor teaches an absolute nightmare of an intro philosophy class. From what i could tell most of the class made a C or below so i consider myself lucky. He states that the purpose of education is to make you suffer... I'm just trying to warn you that he successfully accomplishes that goal with little room to spare.
12/22/09 PHIL1000 1 1 2 2 emoticon_unhappy flag   Absolute worst professor i have ever had at auburn. I cant believe this guy is still teaching. Class consists of only him talking for an hour, yet there is a participation grade. Does not grade on a curve, and from what i could tell, about half of the class got a D or below. Avoid at all costs!
12/17/09 PHIL1020 1 1 1 1 emoticon_unhappy flag   He seems to have no interest in whether you learn the material. Thus, he will overwork you with readings, weekly quizzes and impassable tests, hoping some of the material will stick. As others have said, he does babble the whole time, and treats the class like you are a PHIL major. Only take this if you cannot afford to drop it.
