HIST 1301 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Took this over summer. Thought he did a good job making history interesting. He gives an outline to follow when taking notes in class and all the questions on the test come from that. Just read the book, take notes during class, and study before each test. Also being prepared is important as he has a quiz and extra credit opportunities every day

Hist 1301 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

I expected this professor to have a much higher rating! Yeah, he is kind of informal, but he really knows his stuff and has a passion for history. The class is really not as hard as he says it is though; you can get C's on the quizes and a C on the test and the points will add up together to a B.

HIST 1301 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

I was not impressed with the way he lectured. He would cuss and use profanity in his lectures, and they were all over the place. He uploads outlines onto Blackboard to help, but they don't. You must be good at paying attention in class and you must have time to read the textbook.

HIST 1301 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

If you have any self worth find a different professor. He will give you extra credit but you have to be willing to stroke his ego. The first day of class he explained to us how at least 50% of us would drop his class by test 2. That is very accurate. He makes you feel like he is better than us and has no issues telling us we are failures.

Not a bad professor, but does come off a little crusty. Gives quizzes each class--they are easy if you read the chapters. As for the textbook, you must read it in this class. His tests are solely based on it. There are also videos online that help reinforce the material. Not a difficult course at all, but does take a few hours of work each week.

HIST 1301 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Robinson is one of the worst professors I have had at this school. He is unwilling to help anyone (even though he says he is), he rambles on like an old man in his lectures, and his tests have no relation to what he tells you to study. Not recommended.

Great! Had a lot of fun with his class. Comes off hard at first but over all one of the best History teachers out there

Really enjoyed the class. I like his teaching style. If you don't read text books you wont pass. If you do should be an easy A. I recommend Robin for sure. Ill be taking his HIST 1302 in the Fall. Just don't be a Dufus and you should be safe from flying chalk.

Don't take it if you are not a History person. I struggled with this class and there's not a lot of help out there.

I think he is one of the better instructors i have had. he comes off kinda rough at first but he has a good teaching style. I am taking his HIST 1301 class and I am going to try and take his Hist 1302 class if he teaches it this coming Spring 2012.
