He's a nice guy, fair, smart, but a bit stand-offish when engaged. I couldn't help but find it disconcerting that he rarely talked about work outside his lab. Listen closely to his first couple lectures, and you may find this disconcerting as well. | |||

Probably the best professor I've ever had. I knew I'd like the guy when I walked into my 354 class and he was playing bjork. Of all the classes I've had in the last 4 years, cognitive science has been the most enriching, thanks to dr. dawson. | |||

Had him for 403, 452 and 354. Reall great prof. The classes a really different, so if you can handle that, the prof is worth it. One of the most accessbile profs and so willing to help out. Take his class if you can! | |||
