MATH 232 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: B

He will fail you no problem if your a comp sci major taking a discrete math class. That being said, he is extremely fair, and if you failed than you deserved it. His hours are normally filled with many students so it is hard to get extra help sometimes. But take his class if you have the chance, it is worth the work.

MTH 232 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Best discrete math professor at the U of O. Way way better than Boris Botvinnik or Min Ro. Lectures are much more like he is having a conversation with the class rather than talking at the class.

MATH 232 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Fantastic math teacher, especially for students taking Discrete Math for computer science. He relates examples directly to code and makes everything very relevant. I intentionally looked for him when finding classes to take next term, and am thrilled to be taking another term with him.

Eric is the first and only math person that has made sense to me. I took MATH 231 from a different professor and got a D. Last term I took MATH 231 from Eric and got a B, this term I expect at least a B, maybe even an A-. His approach is to explain things several different ways knowing that everyone learns differently. He cares about his students.

MATH251 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Eric is a really cool guy who made me understand Math! It was amazing! I will probably get a B which is incredible for me and it was because of his office hours and because he isn't sneaky about what he puts on his test. Most people will do well in his class. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Get him before there isn't room left!

Great calculus professor! He is really down to earth and easy to talk to if you have questions or concerns. My only complaint is that he moves pretty quickly.

Easily the best Math professor I've ever had. For the life of me, I couldn't understand differential calculus, but after a year off, I came back to the calculus series, and lucked out with an easy professor.
