Palmer is awesome. His lectures will always tie in economics to something you never thought it would be relevant to, which is really interesting. Never a dull moment, you are compelled to pay attention. Exams, however, are quite difficult compared to the rest of the econ profs, so attendance is mandatory. |

Awesome prof, midterms were ridiculously easy provided you understood economics!! December and April exams were HARD but it is easily balanced out between tutorials and quizzes and midterms. He explains all of the concepts very well, and even if you miss something there TA's are there to help you understand the concept. Highly recommended! |

His lectures are exciting, but exams are quite tough. Make sure you listen to his lectures, coz a few exam questions are from there! |

Palmer is definitely not your easy, laid back prof. You have to go to his class, to understand what he is teaching. Often he covers materials that arent in the textbook. I really enjoyed his classes. He is a very entertaining guy! Exam wise, his questions are killer.. very hard. You can still do well in his class, but you need to work for it. |
