She is the worst teacher of them all. You need to know some history and somekind of knowledge about art before you even take this class because she asks questions that are related to background info. She is not a easy grader at all. And her Syllabus has changed completely, to 5 response papers, midterm final and 1 group project.

Zarro is a really fun professor. Our class got messed up with the scheduling but she worked hard to accommodate every student. Field trips are a blast, but also very educational. Grade based on weekly journal responses (2 pages) plus a few projects. She's really nice and works well with students. Plus, she is hot.

She doesn't really know what she's talking about and is just overall not a very smart person. She thinks field trips are fun when in fact they are just torturous. And you have to write a ton of papers that are pretty terrible and have nothing to do with the class.

its a once a week class so its over 2 hours long but she never keeps you for the full 2 hours. Shes teaches from powerpoint but because we are mostly looking at art work, the powerpoints and her lectures are interesting and fun. No Test or written Final just worksheets, and response papers. Your final project you will be working on all semester.

She teaches mainly with Powerpoints--- which are informative, but ridiculously long. No tests, lots of group analysing, some short papers/responses, and occasional interesting trips. Very approachable and nice!

excellent teacher for race, identity and experience in american art, very helpful... take this class is very interesting cuz u go and visit museums around Philly, and she knows A LOT about the subject.... easy A for sure
