Very helpful teacher, the book is basically useless and that is why going to class is so important. Tests are impossible,but there are many other opportunities in the class to make up the points that you lose from the tests.

This guy is my favorite accounting teacher by FAR. He is pretty clear as to what he expects, so as long as you work hard, this class won't be as difficult as everyone makes it out to be. You can tell he really loves to teach, and he makes accounting fun and enjoyable.

Though everyone says this class is impossible... it is very do-able if you put in the time and effort. He is VERY CLEAR in class and makes the path to an answer very easy. It is up to YOU to keep up and study. I really enjoyed it :)

This guy knows his stuff. The material is difficult and he does his best to make it understandable. He made the class very interesting. Participation points are given, so speak up.

Peffer does NOT deserve to be a professor. He makes cost accounting 100x more difficult than it needs to be. I really wish someone would tell him how terrible he really is! Wished he would have taken class as seriously as his horrible jokes. Unless enjoy kissing ass to an undeserving professor, then you need to avoid at all costs!

Peffer is an outstanding teacher. Moves very quickly but teaches the material well and knows his stuff. A lot of people think he is arrogant- just ignore his jokes and participate in class and you'll be fine. Practice the problems a lot and you'll get an A.

He is very anal about how your work is presented and this can ruin your grade if you aren't OCD like him. Very insulting professor who is too worried about trying to be funny to be an effective teacher at all. If you don't think like him then this class is a nightmare. AVOID IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. This class was by far the worst I had in college.

If you're unsure about taking 418 w/ Peffer, just show up the first day and decide for yourself. If you do the work you will be fine, just be sure you're ready to participate in class. Homework is graded on neatness, fyi.

The homework for this class sucked but overall I thought Peffer was a good professor. He would go over material during class and if you could understand how to do it you were set for the test. Make sure you have old quizzes, they are a huge study help and sometimes he will reuse quizzes from old semesters.

This is a very hard professor! Very intimidating, very obnoxious, and full of himself...the textbook is a waste of money. Quizzes are impossible to finish. If you can look past his personality, you will get by. He has his favorites, so speak up for participation points, they will save you in the class! I would not recommend this professor!!!!!

Does not understand the subject matter well enough to relay it to others. Poor interpersonal skills in spite of his constant harping on them. Obnoxious, grating personality. Hard tests, generally too long to finish. Avoid his class if at all possible.

Peffer thinks he's funny but he is not. He's obsessed with his X-wife and loves getting his ass kissed. Take someone else.

Peffer's class material is interesting, but he is a total dork and plays favorites way too much. If he doesnt like you he is a jerk, but if he likes you, you are set. He also talks about his ex-wife WAY WAY WAY too much. I would reccomend if you are good at kissing his butt.

He is a very good teacher, and he is very helpful. His ego can often get in the way of his teaching though. He is pretty confident of his place "well above" his students.
