He is the best teacher ever!He cares about his students, in a different way though. He's always honest, he pushes you and never pretend to nice and say your works are "interesting". He always points out the most crucial problems in your work and it hurts. But as an artist you have to be honest with yourself even when it hurts to face the truth.

Constantly contradicts himself. During a figurative DRAWING class we spent 4 of16 weeks painting in black and white acrylic paint. including finger painting. Doesn't care about the class or his students. Rude. Some students ignored others bombarded with criticism day after day. Terrible, terrible teacher/person.

This guy definitely needs to work on constructive criticism. Though he does LOVE to critique his students, his advice is generally unclear, confusing, and often rude. He does pick favorites and if something about you bugs him..you'll have a hell of a semester. Looks unhappy and has bad vibe.

He definitely sees something beyond "what you see,"and it hugely affects on my perspective viewing a work/developing of my own. Sometimes he sounds harsh on students but it makes the point clearer.

He teaches Figure Painting but I don't think he paints or draws the figure. He is mostly critical, and his only lesson is "paint what you see". If you want to learn to paint what you see, stay away from him. It seems that he hates teaching and his students. No demonstrations, no real teaching.

This professor knows what he is talking about. Although he is not a master in drawing, he knows the skills and techniques to turn his students into masters. Learn alot from him, accommodating to the needs of students. alot of feedback and really down to earth.
