He is super nice, but a terrible teacher. He gets lost in side stories and provides too many details without offering a clear picture of what we are expected to know. Our lecture was 3 hours long and he literally rambles for 3 hours. It kills me having to go to his class

Larue was my favorite lecturer at Cal. While neuroanatomy is a labyrinthine subject, I could not have hoped for a better guide. He was extremely accessible, organized lectures in a coherent and captivating way (so much so that I still reference his lectures after graduating), gave fair exams, and was overall an excellent teacher.

Lectures understandably flat for an anatomy class, though many interesting tangents. Larue was probably one of the best Profs I've had in Berkeley: he attended EVERY lab for the WHOLE lab to interact with students on a personal level. Down-to-earth, incredibly nice guy. 6 tough midterms + easy cumulative final. courserank.com for my full review
