Probably the best instructor that I`ve ever had. His passion for history is very apparent w/ in the first few minutes of theĀ 1st class. I always enjoyed history, just not as far back as this course. Yet, his enthusiasim is contagious. Every lecture was like a well-rehearsed performance.. Huge asset to IUPUI. Greatful for the experience.

Dr. Wood is an amazing professor. His passion for the subject makes it come alive. You may think to yourself that he is kinda goofy, but the jumping around and his constant smiling never fails to keep your attention. And he is easy on the eyes. However, he is the kind of interesting that overshadows his young looking face completely.

I had Professor Wood for the 9am, Saturday morning class. I was expecting dull and boring. He was fantastic, entertaining, and very clear on both the expectations and the material. We had six quizes (10% each), participation (10%), and a final (30%). If you show up, take notes, and read [when needed]; then you'll get an A.

His reformations class was awesome. He is, without a doubt, one of the most knowledgeable professors of Reformation History I have met! If you attend and do your work, you'll get a good grade! I'd love to take more of his courses but he rarely gives upper level courses.

Prof. Wood was amazing. His lectures are clear and his quizzes and final are straight from the notes (which he presents well). He does funny impressions and loves the material making his class so much more enjoyable than other profs. If he's teaching, takes his class, you won't regret it. Work: we had 6 quizzes & a final, each w/ extra credit ?s

There are only 5 assignments in this class...and ONE FINAL! At times he graded a bit harsh, but this is an overall easy class.

He is my favorite professor by far. I had him for a Intro to religions class. He made it so interesting. He is very clear about is information and is very easy to understand. He always made the class laugh. The grading was very fair and there was not an overload of homework. I would suggest taking any of his classes.

I had him for introduction to religion. He is a wonderful professor. Extremely knowledgeable. He graduated Sum Cum Laudde from Vanderbilt and Princeton. He is also exceptionally helpful. The class is very easy if you read the book and attend all classes. I highly reccomend him.

Hands down one of the best profs I've ever had, and he just got his Ph.D. I wish IUPUI would just give him tenure now to keep him here. He is extremely intelligent, and can answer most questions immediately, but if not will find out for you by the next class. I learned so much in this class, and the workload was very fair for the class.
