ENC 3210 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Take good notes and read the textbook. She is very keen about reading the textbook before class. Very passionate about the subject. Everything is pretty straight forward. Put in the effort and you'll get a good grade.

I've taken several of Dr. Holladay's classes, and I've enjoyed all of them. She is a fun professor who is excited about what we learn. Don't expect to get a good grade without studying. My only complaint would be that she repeats herself a lot. A lot.

Maybe it was my fault for taking this as a summer class, but it was horrible! Grade based on 4 exams with lowest dropped, try your hardest on the first 3 because the final is too difficult to pass. The information in the course is not up to date which makes it annoying to learn. Need the book for study guide, but don't need to read, just skim.

Had her multiple times and disliked her at first. After realizing that she will not spoon feed her students, I started to enjoy going to class and the material covered. She helped out with my grade when I had a borderline A. You must be willing to work if you want a good grade, but you will learn A LOT if you take it seriously.

Taken during the Summer A and I regret it fully. I must have missed this page prior to registering because if I would have realized all the negative feedback she gets is true, I wouldn't have bothered trying! This class is ridiculous! 33 questions in 35 minutes and the final is 100 questions in 35 minutes! No HW or anything to boost your grade!

I'm taking the 6 week summer course right now, I've done the first test, and it is HELL! There so SO much work. She gives out study guides but many of the questions are too vague to answer them. Most of the stuff from the long study guides weren't even on the exam! Exams are set up for you can only see 1 question at a time and can't go back. AVOID.

MMC 3420 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: A

Don't be scared off by all the negative reviews. I got an A in this class simply by reading the book, going to class, and reviewing for an hour or two before the exam. Despite other comments, the reviews are a great help prior to exams, and she does her absolute best to make test questions are straightforward as possible.

MMC 3420 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: C

One of the more difficult classes at UCF. If you're a communications major and this class is required there's really no way around it. Her lectures are fairly useless. She gets sidetracked a lot. Tests are extremely difficult and she comes off condescending most of the time. Fortunately she takes the time to write study guides which help for tests

This class is tough, there is no way around that because of the material. She really tries to make it manageable for students and is willing to help out if you ask. She's sarcastic and funny, but you have to learn to appreciate her personality or else you'll just think she's rude. Great lady! Tough class that makes you really learn. Must have book!

Super nice lady, not the greatest teacher. Passionate about what she does, very difficult to follow. Sidetracked EXTREMELY easily. Can be condescending, but not directly to students' faces. Be prepared to work hard on your own - read and double read power points and the text book. Go to class if you're not familiar with concepts. Dreadfully boring.
