Dr. Chamberlain is a wonderful woman who is passionate and engaging. This particular class was very interesting and she certainly seemed knew the subject well. The homework is normally writing assignments based off of the text books, and you'd better be thorough. She has the tendency to stammer and repeat herself, but the repetition honestly helps.

I think Professor Chamberlain did a fantastic job in the "Religion and Politics in America" class I just took. She will challenge you and expect you to do the readings but I felt the class was very rewarding and pretty straight forward.

REL332 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

I am a math major who is an atheist that knows nothing about religion and this class is still super easy. Homework due every class, but you only have to do a total of 10 assignments. Paper and two midterms. Straight forward class. My only complaint is that she is constantly searching for words and she repeats herself a thousand times.

Dr. Chamberlain knows her stuff, and loves discussion! While her lectures may be a li'l dry at times, keep with her; if you love the topic you will love her. Enjoyed doing her project very much!

She is in charge of the Master of Humanities program, so she will be taking everything you do in this course seriously. She's tough, which can be a little intimidating if you aren't used to her. But remember that she's tough on you because she *wants* you to do your best. She's also very helpful and accommodating. She's my favorite professor.

A really great instructor. Will work with you if you talk to her. The tests are written essay. They are kind of hard, because you have to know the material pretty well. GO TO CLASS and TAKE NOTES, then STUDY those notes.

REL000 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

For such a tiny woman, she is VERY tough! She isn't exactly soft-spoken, but at the same time she is very easy to talk to and very approachable if you need help. She expects the best out of you, but she isn't unreasonable. You will learn a lot from taking her course. She's definitely worth taking.

To my surprise I really enjoyed this class. Classes were very interesting (great discussion). She is old -fasioned in her methods (no powerpoint) and when you do a paper she requires that you not use electronic sources but only books. Nevertheless I loved the class and am taking another of her courses next quarter.

I really enjoyed this course. She is very knowledgable and is able to convey that knowledge to her students. The class is challenging, but not overwhelming. She wants her students to do well and is willing to help them to that end. Her lectures are very interesting and the notes you take prepare you well for the exams. She encourages discussion an

This is not an easy class, and she is not an easy prof but she is helpful and concise. Most of the test is from the course packet and you can borrow her book from the library instead of buying it!! She knows what she is educated and interesting.
