Dr. Foley is one of the best professors I've had at Davidson. She is also the most helpful and caring professor I've had. She really cares about her students and does her best to listen to their concerns. She's also an incredible resource and has a ton of experience in the public health field.

She is a really tough grader and her tests take forever. Lectures can be a bit dry/confusing, but she usually does a really nice job with examples and explanations. I really enjoyed the class, despite its difficulty, and the one time I went to office hours was very helpful ( I should have gone more often!). She was a great teacher for epi!

I took epidemiology without really knowing what I was getting myself into. She tends to be very lecture based and her tests take a LONG time (between 3 and 5 hours). The tests are hard, but they are fair. she expects a lot out of you, but she is very nice and she keeps the lectures engaging.

She's the Associate Director of Medical Humanities and teaches one of the two applied experience coures. Very helpful, class is mostly lecture based.
