She is passionate about biology; but she confuses learning with indoctrination. Not everyone wants to be in the field of biology; often it feels as though you are in the wrong class as an engineer. Biggest complaint is that her tests are much more difficult than what a fresh-man class should be; they're much more like sophomore (200+) level tests.

Fantastic Bio 1 teacher. Though the class can be unorganized at times, I always learned something new from her. Great class. Great professor.

Can definitely be rude at times, but overall effective at teaching the subject.

Condescending! Openly speaks of liberal views in class.

Fairly effective teaching style but very negative attitude toward students. Gets annoyed when you try to ask a clarifying question. She is technically a high school teacher, and so she treats us like high schoolers. Book reading is required, and then the lectures are straight out of the book, but you have to show up anyway for clicker questions.

She is very intelligent and passionate about her subject, but teaches class with arrogance and makes students feel stupid when asking questions in front of the class. She'd be a great upper level bio teacher, but if you can take Earth instead, I HIGHLY recommend it

she has every trait that a bad professor has: extreme arrogance, condescending to students and makes you feel stupid when you ask a question...if you get her for freshmen bells, drop it immediately!!!

Challenging but helpful teacher. She keeps her standards high but helps her students reach them.

Worst "professor" I've had here. Not even a prof - she was brought in from a high school to teach this one class. She wants to turn BELS 101 into BELS 300, which just isn't what the class is meant to be. Mines should never have hired her, and you should avoid her if at all possible.
