Horrible teacher. Very un clear grader and spends most of the class talking about irrelevant things. Tests and quizzes are easy ,but doesn't give a lot of help with papers. Other writing teachers are much easier don't take him unless you have to.

He is a very strict grader on papers, but he is very lenient and will work with you on extensions and he has meetings so you can work with him to better your paper. his quizes and test aren't hard at all if you do the reading- or even skim it

Brizee is an awesome teacher, and truly does have a passion for writing. He was always very flexible and available if you needed help. He's chill and cool, but the class does require a substantial amount of work so be prepared to actually try. There are 5 papers that get increasingly harder but if put in the work, its easy to get an A.

Dr. Brizee's Effective Writing class was an entertaining and easy one. Allen is always there to help you during his office hours or after class. Quizzes and tests are super easy, there are 5 papers, no midterm and a final paper. Papers get progressively harder but students are well-prepared as long as you pay attention in class.

This guy has a true passion for writing. You'll have to do a lot of work for his class, but it's not too hard to get a B or an A, just a lot of work. He's very helpful if you go to his office and he wants you to do well. He taught me a lot about writing and I'm glad I took him. If you want to learn a lot about writing, take him.
