Scholars - This is the most interesting yet challenging class I've ever taken. Her lectures are fascinating and crystal clear. Work hard and you can surely get an A. She uses lectures, videos, and more to help form connections with the material. Amazing!

She is a great professor. She is very clear and I she truly care for the success of her students, the class is very interesting and the extra credit that she offers help to boost your grade. The final grade only consists of three test but during her lectures she provides all the information to get an A in all of them.

Took her Scholar's class, and I didn't have as difficult a time as some previous posters. To get an A, study her notes well (the book's not very necessary except in a few instances), participate in class and work on your final paper early. Show her your paper as many times as you can and she will help you get an A. I enjoyed the class!

Haradon is a great introductory-level professor. Her exams are entirely based on in-class lectures, although you may need the textbook for the 12-page paper (scholars) at the end of the semester, which is substantially more difficult than any material you cover in the course. Essentially: MEMORIZE your lecture notes for the exams.

Definitely not an easy class. The first test is hard, the second is easy, and the final is the hardest! She is clear and very helpful, but her grading is a killer! She expects you know soooo much information--especially for the final! Not everyone wants to be an anthropologist Haradon!

I took this class thinking it was going to be fun and interesting, but then I ended up regretting it. I'm currently in the scholars class and it was tough for the most part. 3 exams and one scholars paper that is about 12 pages long. The lectures get boring at times. She even said the class overall is difficult so work hard.

This class is not a walk in the park. You need to work hard. Her exams are difficult and I was in the Scholars section so we had to do a 10+ page essay that is EXTREMELY difficult; she expects you to be an anthropologist. What she fails to realize is that most people could care less about the class! I have a 4.0 gpa, I got an A, BUT IT IS HARD

Professor Haradon is the best! Even though she says you need the textbook you really don't. Tests are straight from her powerpoints which are very clear. Very, very possible to get an A in this class! She seems like she has her guard up, but she is still a very nice professor.

great professor. Her study guides are very helpful. If you struggle in answering the study guide questions, you will fail her exams. Lots of material covered. Took her for the summer and got an A.

Haradon is a lovely professor! I got a B in her class even though I wanted an A, but that is my fault for not putting in enough time. There is a LOT of material covered in this class, and the tests only get harder, but Haradon is extremely clear and helpful. I definitely recommend her!

Says text is mandatory, but it is NOT. Tests are 100% from her powerpoint slides. 3 tests, 100 points each. 20 point extra credit if you have less than 3 absences. Tests get progressively harder so study every day to stay on top of things. She gets very annoyed by phones, sleeping, tech use, and not paying attention. Manageable class.

She is very strict with attendance, cell phone use and doesn't allow the use of laptops. There are three exams that are not cumulative. The class can get boring, but it is very possible to receive an A. There is an extra credit that can help a lot, but you can only do it if you have very few absences. The textbook is not necessary.

Very dry lecture and boring presentation overall. Granted, I wasn't too interested in the subject but the first day of this class I knew I had made a horrible mistake in taking this professor. Not going to pay for a class this awful. Felt like high school. Switched out ASAP. Couldn't see myself an entire 16 month semester in her class!

absolutely AWESOME teacher! took her scholars, you must pay attention and commit some time to studying but it is very manageable to get an A if you work for it! she's really nice and the class wasn't boring at all. NEVER use your phone or mess around on a laptop, and always come to class [on time] and you'll be fine. and she's also really pretty!

Great professor! Clear lectures and good with answering any questions. You don't need the book for the class as long as you attend class and take notes on her powerpoints. Tests come straight from powerpoints. Highly recommended.
