Scholars - This is the most interesting yet challenging class I've ever taken. Her lectures are fascinating and crystal clear. Work hard and you can surely get an A. She uses lectures, videos, and more to help form connections with the material. Amazing!

She is a great professor. She is very clear and I she truly care for the success of her students, the class is very interesting and the extra credit that she offers help to boost your grade. The final grade only consists of three test but during her lectures she provides all the information to get an A in all of them.

Took her Scholar's class, and I didn't have as difficult a time as some previous posters. To get an A, study her notes well (the book's not very necessary except in a few instances), participate in class and work on your final paper early. Show her your paper as many times as you can and she will help you get an A. I enjoyed the class!

Haradon is a great introductory-level professor. Her exams are entirely based on in-class lectures, although you may need the textbook for the 12-page paper (scholars) at the end of the semester, which is substantially more difficult than any material you cover in the course. Essentially: MEMORIZE your lecture notes for the exams.

Definitely not an easy class. The first test is hard, the second is easy, and the final is the hardest! She is clear and very helpful, but her grading is a killer! She expects you know soooo much information--especially for the final! Not everyone wants to be an anthropologist Haradon!

Anthro 1 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

I took this class thinking it was going to be fun and interesting, but then I ended up regretting it. I'm currently in the scholars class and it was tough for the most part. 3 exams and one scholars paper that is about 12 pages long. The lectures get boring at times. She even said the class overall is difficult so work hard.

This class is not a walk in the park. You need to work hard. Her exams are difficult and I was in the Scholars section so we had to do a 10+ page essay that is EXTREMELY difficult; she expects you to be an anthropologist. What she fails to realize is that most people could care less about the class! I have a 4.0 gpa, I got an A, BUT IT IS HARD

Professor Haradon is the best! Even though she says you need the textbook you really don't. Tests are straight from her powerpoints which are very clear. Very, very possible to get an A in this class! She seems like she has her guard up, but she is still a very nice professor.
