Michael Gend is a great, interesting, hip and radical theater teacher and he should be in your schedule. Michael Gend explains very well in his lectures so be sure to pay attention because his lectures will be on the test. Be nice and ask questions if you do not understand but be sure not to repeat the same question if he has answered already.

He was a super fantastic teacher. He made you work for your grade but it was easy to achieve a grade if you put forth the work. Very clear when lecturing and fair with grading.

A great, fun class. You learn a lot about building sets and preparing the technical aspects of theatre production. Gend was nice, clear with his instructions, and straightforward with his expectations. You have to attend (it's a lab class) but it's so much fun that the time flies right by. The theatre staff (John and Ed) are also great.

theatt300 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

A great professor. His technical expertise, combined with professional experience, working under Broadway's biggest backstage experts translate well in the classroom. If yoou are getting behind, he will take the time to explain the detais needed to get you caught up. You will have to work for an A, but the effort pays off.
